If you see an “unverified” or “untrusted source” message when downloading an application to your phone, it means that your mobile-service provider can’t figure out who you’re trying to download the application from. The application will work as normal even if your mobile providers can’t determine its source. The software industry generally identifies an application’s “source” using a combination of digital signatures and trusted third parties (e.g. Verisign) However, the majority of phones sold by mobile providers don’t yet support this practice.

Problems with download

My download link has arrived, but I can't find it on my phone. Where is it?

The download link is in the body of a message sent to your phone. Depending on the make of your phone, this message will go to your text or WAP Push inbox, also known as a "Service Inbox", "Funbox", "Browser Message Inbox", or simply "Push Inbox".

Warning Messages

On some phones a warning message may appear like:

• "unknown application"

• "untrusted application – may be harmful to your phone"

These messages are normal. They only appear because we have not ‘signed’ the application in a particular way which some handset manufacturers look for. Please ignore these messages.

When you install the application, never click "interrupt" during the download! Wait until the download is finished.

What do I do with the download link I received?

1. Open the message sent to you.
