Smoke Alarms

DC Ionisation

No wiring required to fit. Rest assured that your smoke alarm will operate in a fire as there is no circuit to be broken between the battery power and the alarm sounder.

Alarms employing ionistion technology generally sense fast burning fires more quickly than alarms employing photoelectric technology. Smoke alarms employing photoelectric technology geneally sense smoldering fires more quickly than alarms using ionisation technology.  While all smoke alarms have limitations, smoke alarms employing either ionisation or photelectric technologies provide to the occupant reasonable notice of the presence of fire or smoke in the proximity of the alarm.
