Electromechanical Thermostat with SPST switch and Auxiliary switch for OFF position

Temperature control with SPST switch and auxiliary switch for OFF position. Terminal 3-4 closes at temperature rise. Terminal 3-6 opens in OFF position. Closing with rising temperature and auxiliary switch(terminal 3-6) connected in series with the main switch (terminal 3-4) which breaks the current circuit as soon as the temperature control is set to OFF position. In general type K57 is classified into 2 basic versions: Version A: K57 with standard switching differential. Version B: K57 with wide switching differential (wide diff. Version) This version is especially applied in refrigerating devices where at the same time automatic defrost and an extended control range are required. Depending on the design of the refrigerating device/temperature control indoor temperatures of the refrigerating device between 0 and +15°C can be achieved, i.e. the refrigerating device can be used for refrigeration as well as for storage of goods.
